Who is Jimbo? From where did he arrive to help rescue everyday New Yorkers from the tedium of repetitive lunches?
It all started in a picturesque Brooklyn neighborhood in the 1960's. Returning from some sort of crazy funky protest, Jimbo was in the center of several odd simultaneous events. A truck transporting radio-active waste collided with a truck transporting bio-hazardous waste, which spilled into the street. While being struck by these spills, Jimbo was bitten by a spider involved in genetic engineering tests to modify its DNA. At the time, Jimbo had just opened a strange ancient Viking book, written in Samurai Japanese, which had the ability to endow him with special powers. Interestingly, one of Jimbo's parents had fled from the planet Krypton when its sun went supernova, and he was also recoiling from the shock of being a wealthy orphan raised by a wise butler named Alfred Pennyworth after a street thug callously murdered his parents.
In any case, all these events caused Jimbo to (gasp) drop his hot dog and pretzel into the sewer. This disaster caused Jimbo to swear an oath on what would prove to be a momentous day:
"I will do all in my power to see that no New Yorker, ever, has to have their lunch ruined again"Hence Jimbo is engaged in a quest to keep lunch interesting for all who eat it within the NYC city limits.
