NEW YORK, NY On December 19, Jimbo and I officially released the www.jimboeatsnewyork.com website. We feel that we achieved our initial goal: to provide a resource that will allow New Yorkers to maximize their lunch enjoyment, and at the same time, minimize their expenditures.

When we started, we realized that the site focus must be utilitarian, providing all information in a sentence or two. We also wanted the site to be very easy to use, which we have also achieved. Additionally, our personalities required that we make the site mildly entertaining. Why? Primarily because we enjoyed creating it that way, but also because humor and personality can convey ideas more efficiently and succinctly that long, verbose sentences. Also, perhaps it will engender a chuckle, chortle, or quiet laughter.

Ok, so now that we have a working and functional site, we have the following site improvement plans:

Make the restaurants searchable by location
Create mailing list
Creation of a fundraising page that solicits donations via paypal, and sells t-shirts and boxer shorts
General back-end website work to improve efficiency and usability.
